Upcoming Outreach Program in Machakos County

June 2026 School Visit Initiative

Shame2Glory Foundation is preparing for an upcoming outreach visit to a co-educational senior secondary school in Machakos County, Kenya, scheduled for June 2026.

The initiative is part of our continued commitment to supporting students through empowerment, dignity, and practical assistance that promotes confidence and well-being in schools.

Planned Gender-Based Empowerment Talk

During the visit, students will participate in an interactive gender-based empowerment session aimed at addressing important issues affecting both boys and girls in school and everyday life.

The discussions are expected to focus on:

  • Personal hygiene and self-care
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Respect and responsibility
  • Menstrual health awareness
  • Positive decision-making
  • Encouraging academic focus and discipline

The goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn, ask questions, and feel encouraged about their future.

Distribution of Essential Supplies

As part of the outreach:

  • Girls will receive sanitary towels to support menstrual dignity and help them stay comfortable and confident in school.
  • Boys will receive pairs of socks to support their daily school needs and personal well-being.

Through these simple but meaningful acts, the foundation hopes to remind every student that they are valued, supported, and capable of achieving their dreams.
